Understanding Spore-Based Organisms

I created this illustration to demonstrate how spore-based probiotics function and differ from traditional probiotics. The illustration integrates the specific functions of each strain, showcasing their collective ability to produce a multitude of enzymes, secretory proteins, antimicrobial compounds, vitamins and carotenoids. The image highlights the unique resistant nature of spore-based probiotics, detailing their transition from a dormant to active state and their ability to re-sporulate in the large intestine.
